Lauren J. Hunsaker

Lauren J. Hunsaker is a real estate attorney.  Her practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, disposition, leasing, master planned development and the construction and financing of real estate projects.  She also represents landlords and tenants in all types of leases, including shopping center leases, multi- and single-tenant office leases, warehouse leases and ground leases. Ms. Hunsaker works closely with clients to understand their business needs and goals in order to craft commercial solutions to legal problems.

Ms. Hunsaker is a native Houstonian who grew up in Houston and Philadelphia. She attended the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in European History and Political Science in 2008, summa cum laude. Ms. Hunsaker received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin in 2011. While at the University of Texas, Ms. Hunsaker was the Chief Notes Editor for the Review of Litigation and published her student note in the 2010–11 volume. She was also a member of the Interscholastic Mock Trial team.

Prior to joining Dow Golub Remels & Gilbreath in 2020, Ms. Hunsaker served as outside counsel to a global oilfield services company.
